Medium size bamboo tray featuring the Honeysuckle design by May Morris from 1883.
Tray measures approximately: 33 cm x 25 cm x 2.5 cm (13" x 9.5" x 1"). Weighs approximately 300 grams.
Made in Scotland.
Matt finish. Clean with a damp sponge and dry with a soft cloth - do not immerse in water.
Can withstand temperatures up to 145 degrees centigrade.
May Morris designed Honeysuckle for Morris and Co in 1883. She was the younger of William Morris's two daughters. May was a very talented crafts person, designer and artist in her own right and became head of embroidery at Morris & Co. at the age of 23.
