A stylish and handy pocket mirror featuring The Wassail, a gesso painted panel designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) in 1900 for Miss Cranston's Tea Room in Ingram Street, Glasgow.
Mirror measures: 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm. Comes on a Mackintosh card.

The Wassail is an oil painted gesso on hessian and scrim, set with twine, thread and glass beads panel frieze designed and painted by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1900 for the Ladies Luncheon Room in Miss Katherine Cranston's tea rooms on Ingram Street in Glasgow. The panels were removed in 1971 and now hang in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow.
