From Hines of Oxford, fine quality jacquard loom woven tapestry cushion with a beige velvet back featuring the Golden Lily design by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co.
This beautiful cushion has a concealed zip fastener and inner duck feather pad.
Fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and cushion is Made in England. This large cushion measures approximately: 46 cm x 46 cm (18" x 18").

Golden Lily was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co in 1897 as a wallpaper. Dearle took over as Art Director at Morris & Co. after the death of William Morris in 1896. Dearle designed over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles for the firm.
