From Hines of Oxford, fine quality cotton jacquard woven tapestry cushion with beige velvet back featuring the Honeysuckle design by May Morris. Cushion measures 33 cm x 33 cm (13" x 13").
Cushion fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and cushion is made and finished in England by Hines of Oxford.
May Morris designed Honeysuckle for Morris & Co in 1883. May was the younger of William Morris's two daughters. May was a talented crafts person, designer and artist in her own right and became head of embroidery at Morris & Co. at the age of 23.
