Beautiful complete cushion featuring the Blackthorn design by John Henry Dearle (1859 - 1932) for Morris & Co.
Made by Signare, cushion comes with inner duck feather pad (Made in England) and measures 45 cm x 45 cm (18")
Design is on both sides of the cushion and has a piped edge. Has a concealed zip closure.
Care instructions: spot clean only. Cover is made from 100% polyester.
Blackthorn was designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. in 1892 as a wallpaper. Dearle was Morris's apprentice, partner and design successor at the firm working for the company for 54 years.
