From Hines of Oxford, pair of fine quality jacquard woven tapestry cushions with beige velvet back featuring The Hare - facing left and facing right - design by William Morris.
Cushions have a concealed zip fastener and removable feather pad. These cushions measure 33 cm x 334 cm (13" x 13").
Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weaves and cushions are Made in England by Hines of Oxford.
The hare features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves, a lion, peacock, hare and fox amongst wildflowers and was one of Morris & Co's finest tapestries.
