From Hines of Oxford, fine quality cotton jacquard woven tapestry cushion with beige velvet back featuring the stately Hares design by William Morris from his The Forest tapestry.

Has a concealed zip fastener and removable feather pad. Cushion measures 60 cm x 35 cm (24" x 14").

The hare features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves, a lion, peacock, hare and fox amongst wildflowers and is one of the finest tapestries produced by Morris & Co.
