William Morris Strawberry Thief Glasses Case

A stylish and practical way to store your glasses. This fabric covered hard glasses case features the Strawberry Thief print designed by William Morris in 1883 in a blue colourway.

Includes a Strawberry Thief lens cloth to wipe your glasses.

Case measures: 16 cm (long) x 5.5 cm (wide) x 2.5 cm (at the deepest point).

Cloth measures: 15 cm x 18 cm.

Strawberry Thief was designed by William Morris in 1883 with birds drawn by his architect friend Philip Webb. Strawberry Thief was inspired by the Morris family efforts to grow strawberries at their home Kelmscott Manor but being thwarted by thrushes who would creep under the netting and eat the fruit. Morris insisted the birds be left undisturbed.
