From Hines of Oxford, pair of fine quality cotton jacquard woven tapestry cushions with beige velvet back featuring the majestic lion from The Forest tapestry design by William Morris.

Cushions have concealed zip fasteners and removable feather pads.

Fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and cushions are Made in England by Hines of Oxford. Cushions measure38 cm x 48 cm (15" x 19").

The majestic lion features on The Forest Tapestry designed by William Morris in 1887 at Merton Abbey and woven by Morris & Co's three most senior weavers. The Forest depicts scrolling acanthus leaves, a lion, peacock hare and fox amongst wildflowers and was one of Morris & Co's finest tapestries.
