From Hines of Oxford, sturdy metal waste bin covered in fine quality jacquard loom woven tapestry fabric featuring the Golden Lily design by John Henry Dearle (1859-1932) for Morris & Co. from

Measures approximately 30.5 cm high x 20 cm in diameter. Weighs just over 1 kg.

Tapestry fabric is woven in Flanders by master weavers and the bin is Made in England.

Could be used in a home office, bathroom, study or bedroom.

John Henry Dearle worked for Morris & Co. for 54 years designing over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles for the firm as well as stained glass and carpets. Dearle became Art Director at Morris & Co. after the death of William Morris in 1896.
