Faithful reproduction of a vintage poster for the Grand Teton national park in Wyoming created for America's National Park Service during the 1930s and 40s. This 17" x 23" poster is printed on heavy stock paper using a non-reflective matte finish for a look and feel of the original silk-screened posters.

In 1935 President Franklin Delano Roosevelt established the Works Progress Administration (WPA) as part of his New Deal program to put millions of unemployed Americans back to work. The New Deal administrators believed art could be a part of the daily lives of all Americans not just the elite. The WPA funded various art projects including between 1936 and 1943 the creation of a series of silkscreen posters to promote America's National Parks which have since become collector's items.

Comes rolled in a poster tube.
