Licensed from the V & A Museum, writing set featuring the Leicester wallpaper design by John Henry Dearle from 1912. Contains 10 sheets of high quality A5 printed writing paper with 10 envelopes encased in an attractive matt laminate folder (7 3/8" x 9.5").
One outer edge of the cream writing paper has a strip of the Leicester design, and the envelopes are plain white.
Leicester was designed as a wallpaper in 1912 by John Henry Dearle for Morris & Co. Dearle worked for the firm for 54 years, becoming Art Director after the death of William Morris in 1896, designing over 30 wallpapers and 40 textiles.
