100% cotton cushion cover - no inner pad - featuring a blue colourway of the Compton design from at archive print at the William Morris Gallery.

Cushion cover measures 17 x 17" (43 cm) and has a zip opening. Design on both sides of the cover.

Wash cover at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry.

Compton was designed by John Henry Dearle (1859-1932) for Morris & Co. in 1895. Dearle took over as Art Director and chief designer at Morris & Co. after the death of William Morris in 1896. Dearle began his 54-year career with the company as a 17-year-old shop assistant in the Morris & Co. Oxford Street shop.
